Reklaim offers data to brands and agencies, platforms and data companies, while allowing consumers to opt in to share specific pieces of data with brands in exchange for compensation, and to opt out. Sweeney says the first version of Killi was based on creating a product where consumers needed to add more data to be paid, but his team soon realized this didn't solve the issue of consumer data access. Through Reklaim, consumers can not only access their data, but they can also see how many companies are buying and selling it, and how much their data is sold for annually.
